Emergency Room RN - Travel

Under the direction of the Department Manager the day-to-day supervision of the Lead Technologist and in close collaboration with the Radiologists, the MRI Technologist performs a variety of magnetic resonance-based diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards utilizing age-specific criteria.  Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff.  Participates in quality control and organizational improvement activities.  Serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists.  Participates in call schedule to meet staffing needs of the department.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• RN License: Must hold a valid New York (NY) RN License.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED).
• Telemetry Experience: Required.
• Travel Experience: Must have previous travel ER experience
• Note: ER is not able to support first-time travelers.
• Must have recent ER experience

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS): Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) ONLY.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) ONLY.
