Position: Electrical Engineer - Maintenance & Optimization
Join an international leader in specialty coatings as a hands-on Electrical Engineer responsible for maintaining and optimizing their cutting-edge automated production line at our U.S. facility, just North of Syracuse, NY. As our in-house electrical maintenance expert, you'll collaborate with our corporate automation team based overseas.

Requirements
What You Bring:
- Ideally, a BS in Engineering, specializing in electrical engineering, automation, or equivalent; however, we're open to considering AAS or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 to 15 years of experience troubleshooting large processing machinery typically found in industries such as paper, chemical processing, plastics, or metals. Heavy equipment and industrial machinery experience are a must.
- Proficiency in measurement and control technology, drive controls, and frequency converters is highly preferred.
- Practical experience with Siemens automation systems like S7, WinCC, TIA-Portal, Sinamics, and Profinet is desirable, but we'll also consider experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- A knack for independent and systematic work, coupled with excellent communication skills.
- A natural curiosity and openness to innovation.
Your Compensation:
- Base salary ranging from $85K to $115K, depending on your experience, with potential for higher compensation.
- Annual Bonus: 3%
