Ecological Restoration and Construction Project Manager

This leadership position will start and finish contracting projects within the environmental restoration market. Projects would include creating or enhancing wetlands, treating invasive species, stabilizing erosion, and sediment control issues, creating, or improving riparian shoreline habitats, climate resiliency efforts and other related jobs.

This position is meant to start and develop a working team and foothold in the capital, Catskills, central, Hudson Valley and possible Adirondacks regions of New York State.

This position is a part of LaBella's Eco-Construction Program and will continue its services to the areas described above. This position will also be responsible for creating a working environment, team, and base of operations. This position will include but not limited to a mix of office and field work throughout the week.

Requirements

• Possess a NYSDEC Applicators Certificate with specific categories.

• Several years of experience in the ecological / environmental restoration field.

• Leadership experience and skills necessary to lead a team into project and the daily work week.

• Communication skills to effectively portray information to the team, converse with clients, network, and business development.

• Other certifications such as OSHA, ADE / First AID, or other applicable certifications is preferred.

• A positive attitude and a passion for rehabilitating our natural communities and ecosystems.

Salary range

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
