tarte cosmetics is seeking a Director of Site Merchandising who will lead & manage site experience & merchandising for tarte.com, ensuring tarte’s digital experience aligns with brand marketing initiatives & product launches. This position plays a critical role in driving top-line revenue growth & enhancing the brand's digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Merchandising Strategy: Develop & execute site merchandising strategies to optimize product assortment & storytelling to drive conversion rate and AOV. Responsible for providing linking strategy for all channels. Ensure strategy aligns with the brand’s goals
- Promotions: Plan & execute promotional strategies to drive revenue & customer engagement while maintaining profitability, in partnership with the Digital Marketing, Brand Marketing & Planning teams.
- E-Commerce Customer Experience: Partner with marketing teams to deliver a best-in-class experience through personalization, site content/enhancements & marketing activations & promotions. Collaborate with leadership as well as product management to prioritize & execute site roadmap.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize website analytics & customer data to identify opportunities for improvement & make data-driven decisions to enhance site performance – i.e. leveraging historical & current search trends to drive strategy for the marketing calendar & category optimizations on site. Regularly report on KPIs & site metrics to the leadership team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with brand & digital marketing teams, operations, planning, customer service, business intelligence & finance to ensure the e-commerce business & site experience aligns with tarte’s business strategy.
- Team Leadership: Oversee, develop & mentor a team of site merchandisers, fostering a culture of innovation & excellence.
- Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors' strategies, & emerging e-commerce technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- 12+ years experience in e-commerce management, experience in fashion or beauty preferred
- Strong proficiency in Google Analytics 4 with a proven ability to extract insights & provide actionable recommendations
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager is preferred
- Proven track record of implementing successful e-commerce strategies and initiatives to drive growth, e.g. segmenting promotional offers by new & returning customers
- Excellent business acumen with the passion to drive sales & own P&L of DTC retail
- Highly collaborative & flexible self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
