Full Job Description

As a Fenergo Director of Sales, your primary objective is to generate revenue for Fenergo by building and developing your sales pipeline and managing each stage of the sales cycle through to contract execution.

The Director of Sales will be a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, building and maintaining senior relationships across organizations. You must have extraordinary communications skills to effectively share the Fenergo story, evaluate client challenges and needs and translate those to positive client outcomes. You will work in collaboration with various Fenergo practice leads and the global sales team to support and coordinate sales processes, go-to-market strategies, and business development initiatives that drive revenue growth and market expansion for the organization.

Given the reach of this role, some international travel may be required.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and accelerate new business
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives to support Fenergo’s growth goals
  • Ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, deal development, presentations, and legal and commercial negotiations
  • Manage RFP/RFI response process to accurately represent Fenergo’s offering
  • Transparent, effective, and accurate pipeline management and forecasting utilizing Salesforce and other internal tools
  • Participate in general sales strategy meetings to ensure a collaborative and consistent message
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with Fenergo operational and executive staff to ensure the highest levels of efficient operational interaction and provide market feedback on industry trends, product pricing and Fenergo’s competitive landscape.
  • Champion the Fenergo brand in the industry through content generation such as whitepapers and web content and participation in industry events

Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience with proven success in enterprise software sales to the financial services industry; Experience with client on-boarding, KYC or AML is a plus
  • Experience and comfortable working with long, complex, high-value sales processes that cross all levels of an organization and stakeholders, including C-level executives
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills including the ability to present effectively and confidently at various levels of an organization
  • The ability to differentiate between the important and the urgent, simultaneously managing multiple deals at various stages while continuing to prospect for new opportunities
