Requirements
Under the leadership of the Medical Director, the Director, Quality Management (DQM) is accountable for the development, management and coordination of the Hospice Performance Improvement and Safety Program.
Salary: $160,000 - $180,000/Annually
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Nursing and minimum of five (5) years of experience in Quality Assessment and Improvement, Utilization Review or Risk Management required. Two (2) of these years must be in a supervisory position.
- Knowledge of and experience in Quality Assessment and Improvement, Utilization Review.
- Knowledge of and experience with hospital and patient information systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals from different disciplines in varying positions within and outside the organization.
- Ability to develop management systems to track data over time.
- Ability to design and conduct clinical research activities and perform data analysis.
Education:
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or health related field required. Master's Degree in Nursing or Health Care Administration and/or CPHQ certification preferred.
