Digital Reach Agency is a full-service digital marketing agency focused on becoming the best B2B SaaS & Tech provider. We’re looking for a Director of Digital Experience with experience working in a digital marketing agency environment, to join our team.

The Role:

We're looking for an exceptional Digital Experience Director to spearhead our website and digital experience initiatives and provide leadership for our web development and creative teams. This role requires a highly experienced professional with a strong background in both design and development, and the leadership skills to manage both the Web Development and Creative Department Directors.

As a Director of Digital Experience, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction of our projects and ensuring alignment with overarching client and department goals. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, product managers, and client stakeholders, to build websites and architect solutions that are both innovative and scalable.

 Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with account managers, project managers and clients to gather requirements and ensure alignment between technical solutions and project requirements.
  • Strategic Planning: Craft implementation strategies and ensure alignment between stakeholders and the web development team.
  • Review and Feedback: Review development team member’s work and provide constructive feedback to ensure development strategies are correctly implemented.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential roadblocks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Champion quality standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate with internal team members and manage the QA process. Review code, staged work and deployed work to ensure client expectations are satisfied.
  • Deployments and Environment Management: Construct and manage hosting environments. Complete backups, restorations and deployments.
  • Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring deliverables that effectively address clients’ marketing goals and challenges
  • Brainstorm concepts, prioritize deliverables, and ensure projects are streamlined and completed in a timely manner

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in managing designers and/or developers
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance website solutions.
  • Strong web development background (especially JavaScript, CSS/HTML, and PHP).
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • You understand design principles and can effectively collaborate with designers to translate creative vision into exceptional user experiences. 
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Experience reading third party documentation and developing using third party integrations (API)
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experience implementing conversion tracking inside of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Good written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (especially in regards to Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Working knowledge of Sketch and/or Figma
