This role is  based in our New York Office working a hybrid work schedule.

The role

We are seeking a talented and experienced marketing insights individual to join our Brand Partnerships team on a contract basis. The Director, Audience Intelligence will be responsible for driving forward our approach to research, measurement and insights. Defining a roadmap and implementing a framework to validate our audience and environment, as well as deliver campaign level measurement to demonstrate the effectiveness of clients advertising dollars to drive business growth. This role empowers Brand Partnerships and our clients to understand their target audiences, evaluate creative, campaign and media strategies and measure their impact. 

The Director, Audience Intelligence will oversee the implementation of advanced data and analytical strategies, storytelling and data visualization. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Strategy, Creative. Media Operations and Client Success. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead our research & measurement agenda, identifying and implementing strategic partnerships and defining a comprehensive roadmap to drive advertising effectiveness across Moonbug’s products 
  • Prioritize investments across research and measurement agenda
  • Develop and implement research strategies to gather consumer insights and market intelligence
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns 
  • Use data for impactful storytelling, developing insights that drives product development and innovation
  • Support and enhance the businesses 1st party data strategy, championing needs of the Brand Partnerships team 
  • Develop insightful automated dashboards and data visualizations
  • Maintain a historical database of media campaign data from clients and our own internal marketing efforts
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the wider Brand Partnerships team, upleveling skill sets 
  • Work with the sales team to understand clients needs and act as a consultant and trusted advisor to support their strategic goals
  • Establish marketing KPIs across Moonbug’s core products 
  • Drive thought leadership across the industry, outlining the whitespace for market reports and PR 
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and clients 
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, consumer behaviors, new measurement platforms and competitor activity 

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in digital media and marketplace research and measurement
  • Experience in kids advertising with knowledge of the MFK space preferred 
  • Global experience preferred
  • Strong leadership with a proven track record of building high performing data science teams and projects 
  • A deep understanding of digital media and proven industry disrupter with a forward-thinking creative mindset
  • Proficiency with YouTube, Meta, TikTok & Amazon
  • Superior analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling
  • Excellent data visualization skills
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and concepts to internal/external stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex subjects to different audiences
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

Monthly Rate for a 6 month contract; $16,667- 17,500 depending on experience.
