Crenshaw Communications, a Mod Op company, is seeking an experienced leader to join our dynamic B2B technology team. This is an opportunity to work with well-known B2B tech companies in industries like adtech, martech, sales tech, and artificial intelligence (AI).
In this role, you’ll be a key part of the team, leading client communication, diving strategy and working together with a team to secure media coverage on behalf of clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with clients, providing guidance and driving strategic direction
- Act as a source of knowledge on the ad tech industry, supporting team members and clients
- Build relationships with media and proactively pitch targeted outlets, including broadcast, print and new media
- Work collaboratively with team members to develop and implement successful PR campaigns
- Oversee the development of media materials, including press kits, press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, bios, case studies and backgrounders
- Lead in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients
- Mentor team members: aid in upskilling with respect to key PR strategies and tactics, including but not limited to, media relations, thought leadership and executive visibility, and awards and speaking programs
- Maintain 1-4 direct reports, assist in the development of goals, deliver annual reports and regular check-ins
- Assist in the research and development of new business proposals
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of prior work experience in PR, including agency experience
- Experience working at or on behalf of an adtech brand, securing coverage with national, business and trade media
- Strong understanding of the PR process, the news media landscape, and what ‘makes’ a story
- B2B PR background with knowledge of corporate PR and crisis management
- Experience measuring the ROI of communications activities
- A passion for storytelling and proven track record of securing earned media coverage
- Deadline-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Superior people and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team player who works well under pressure
- Thrives in an environment of flexibility and change
- Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovative thinking
- Ability to build relationships internally and externally, interfacing at all levels

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000
