Your Primary Responsibilities Include:
The Digital Bank Operations Specialist is responsible of deposit operation functions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to process customer deposits, handle account maintenance tasks, and ensure seamless transaction processing.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Process and verify customer deposits accurately and efficiently, adhering to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle account maintenance tasks, including account updates, customer information changes, and beneficiary changes.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate and balanced records.
- Process daily operational reports including new accounts, closed accounts, mobile banking reports.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team to address customer inquiries related to deposits and account transactions.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of discrepancies or errors related to deposit operations.
- Monitor fraud mitigating alerts and parameters performance, recommending enhancements to processes and procedures to minimize losses while limiting client impact.
- Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies including but not limited to Regulation E, OFAC, NACHA and Mastercard rules.
- Provide support to internal audits and examinations related to deposit operations.
- Resolve complex issues related to deposit operations, serving as the escalation point with vendors and internal teams.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of deposit-related tasks.
- Perform special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar; OR associate degree and two (2) years of experience in functional area; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) plus four (4) years of experience in functional area.
- Additional one (1) years of progressive experience in functional area.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated skills and experience with deposit operations functions within a banking or financial services environment.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office 365 and banking software/systems used for transaction processing and account management.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance, and industry best practices.
- Willingness to pursue continuing education, certifications, etc. as applicable to advancing in the organization.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to speak confidently.
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities change daily, and where employees wear many hats.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to think "outside the box" and prioritize tasks and decisions in a timely manner.
- Self-directed, yet effective working as part of a collaborative team.
- Responsive and customer-focused with a demonstrated use of professional judgment.

Benefits
This role's annual base salary range is $52,000 - $66,000.
