Manager of front office customer service representatives

Whizz, a leading e-bike rental service for delivery drivers with shops in New York, Jersey City, and soon Philadelphia, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of front office customer service representatives. This role offers a competitive salary of $100-120k per year. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales and team management background in retail. Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the team of CSRs across all bike shops. Ensure CSRs are performing at their best, delivering excellent customer service, and meeting sales targets.
  • Oversee the onboarding and sales process for new customers, ensuring a high conversion rate from appointments and walk-ins. Drive additional sales of accessories and extra services to maximize revenue.
  • Supervise interactions with existing customers for repairs and returns, ensuring fast, efficient, and high-quality service.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, using data to drive improvements.
  • Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention. Be responsible for maintaining and improving store ratings on Google Maps and other similar platforms.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2C / retail sales (preferably offline) in leading positions.
  • Proven experience in managing teams of 10+ people.
  • Experience in retail, especially electronics stores such as Best Buy, Target, etc. is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical, operational, leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of other languages (French or Spanish) is an advantage.
