We are seeking a dynamic and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Manager for Happier Grocery.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that every customer who visits our store has a positive and memorable experience. You will work closely with our store team to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and implement initiatives to drive customer loyalty and satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will quickly be able to adapt to the brand, values, and culture of the company, evoking passion and excitement for the process in all involved, while providing an upbeat and positive client and team experience. Because we are a small team, we all wear many hats and are happy to roll up our sleeves and lend a hand whenever needed. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the customer experience, including customer service, merchandising, and store layout
- Train and coach store team members on customer service and engagement best practices
- Help customer navigate the store if they are unfamiliar with the layout
- Educate customers about who we are as a company and promote our values in a relatable manner
- Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained to enhance the customer experience
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement programs to drive customer loyalty and satisfaction, including customer rewards programs and community events
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to develop and execute customer-focused promotions and campaigns
- Monitor and track customer service metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure that the store is meeting or exceeding customer expectations
- Manage customer service inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure that store policies and procedures are customer-friendly and easy to understand
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the customer experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in customer experience management or a related role, preferably in the grocery or retail industry
- Proven experience in developing and implementing customer-focused strategies and initiatives
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and analytically, with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in customer service and data analytics tools
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving customer loyalty
