CT Scan Technologist

Impact Recruiting Solution is currently seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team in the healthcare industry. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be critical in performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce detailed images of patients' internal organs, tissues, and bones.

You can work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. This role offers the chance to contribute to the diagnosis and treatment planning process by providing high-quality CT scan images that aid in accurate and timely patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Operate CT scanners to capture detailed cross-sectional images of patient's anatomy
• Ensure the appropriate settings and techniques are applied to obtain high-quality CT images
• Monitor patients during the scan to ensure their well-being and address any concerns or complications
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret CT scan images
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of patient records, adhering to privacy regulations
• Calibrate and maintain CT scanners and related equipment to ensure optimal functioning
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection measures to minimize risk to patients and staff
• Stay up-to-date on advancements in CT technology and techniques through continuing education and professional development

Requirements

• Valid certification as a CT Scan Technologist
• Experience operating CT scanners and performing CT imaging procedures
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Excellent technical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and high-quality CT scan images
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals, providing clear instructions and answering questions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations with composure
• Commitment to patient safety and adhering to radiation protection measures

Benefits

• The salary for this position is$50 - $55 / hr
• This is a Full-time or a Part-time position
