Beauty Coordinator
BPCM is looking for a Beauty Coordinator to join our Beauty & Wellness team. Ideally, someone with an understanding and passion for public relations, communications and influencer marketing in the beauty and wellness spaces. Potential candidates will have experience working in a PR department or agency, but not required. Candidates should be great multi-taskers and team players who are extremely well-organized, have a strong sense of time management, and are able to juggle multiple projects at a time to meet deadlines. This position reports into the Assistant Account Executives of the team at large but will have access and visibility to senior management.
More about the role:
- Work with beauty team to manage and support all beauty product activity including but not limited to; send outs, storage room cataloging, inventory, etc.
- Remain knowledgeable and up to date on all client deliveries, gifting, and inventory
- Assist team with product send outs for editor, influencer, and talent requests
- Assist the team with monitoring and reporting on press coverage, events, promotions, gifting, etc., across all beauty clients
- On-the-ground support for agency events
- Manage and coordinate ongoing admin projects. For example, but not limited to - master contact sheet, award coordination and organization, relevant calendar reminders, etc.
- Attend team meetings and complete necessary follow-up to ensure next steps
- Assist in reconciliation of the corporate AMEX each billing cycle
- Ability to move boxes weighing up to 25 pounds across the office for various needs.
Requirements
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or related field, preferable but not required
- Passionate about the beauty industry
- Inquisitive about media & industry trends
- Full time or internship experience at a PR Agency or in-house ideal
- Strong computer skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Problem solving and solution oriented with a proactive attitude
- Professionally and effectively liaise with internal and external contacts
- Exceptional at keeping things organized, able to multi-task and juggle priorities
- Strong time management skills - managing own time and the time of others
Location: This role is based in our Brooklyn, NY office on a hybrid basis. The needs of this role may require 3-5 days in office.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $40,000 annually. Actual compensation is based on a range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
