Full Job Description
· Construction evaluation based on standards, practices, and applicable codes
· Onsite observation of ongoing construction completion activity, and recognition of both contract and code concerns
· Construction administration inclusive of generation and/or review of: submittals, RFI’s, change orders, payment requisitions, field reports, etc.
· Preparation of technical reports
· Ability to process submittals and record dates of each transaction
· Involvement in the operations & analysis of construction costs
· Must be able to process change orders and requests for information as directed by the project manager
· Communication with general contractors and subcontractors to coordinate project scheduling
· Possessing estimating and/or scheduling skills is a plus
· Travel to construction sites locally – reimbursed for travel
Requirements
· Construction/Project Management experience: 5-10 years
· Problem solving skills
· Excellent interpersonal, writing, and computer skills
· Familiarity with Cost Estimating & Documentation Tools: R.S. Means, Planswift, MS Excel, The Blue Book
· Working knowledge of Construction Scheduling & Management Tools: MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, Procore, Plangrid, Bluebeam
· Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Adobe
· Background in building codes/code enforcement a plus
