ABOUT ATRIA: 

Atria is a membership-based preventive health care organization delivering cutting-edge primary and specialty care in New York, Palm Beach, and beyond. 

We bring together a multidisciplinary team of renowned, in-house physicians to provide proactive, preventive, and precision-based care for Atria members and their families. We aim to optimize the healthy lifespan of all our members through meticulous screening and tailored interventions to prevent, reverse, or manage major chronic diseases.

Each member’s care is led by a dedicated Internist (Primary Care Physician) and a care team composed of Nurse Practitioners or Physician’s Assistant (Advanced Care Providers), Registered Nurse, and Care Coordinators. The member’s PCP collaborates with specialists in cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, gynecology, endocrinology, performance and movement, nutrition, integrative health, and more. Our PCPs are supported by a 24/7/365 Atria home services team led by emergency physicians and their ACP/RN support team. Our exceptional clinicians also work closely with the 60+ members of the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine, top experts in their respective fields who provide rapid consults, support, or referrals. 

POSITION SUMMARY: 

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Internist (Primary Care Physician) to join a membership-based medical organization. As the PCP, you will serve as the primary care physician for a limited panel of patients, providing comprehensive, personalized, and preventive medical care and collaborating with specialists across 10+ medical disciplines.

This role is ideal for a physician who values long-term patient relationships and wishes to practice deeply personalized medicine at the highest of precision and clinical standards.

The ideal candidate will be a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care. You should have excellent communication skills, a compassionate bedside manner, a dedication to learning and practicing at the leading edge of science, and embrace working in a collaborative and integrated manner with physicians across a range of specialties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide direct primary care services to a panel of up to 200 patients , allowing for extended appointment times and personalized attention
  • Develop and coordinate comprehensive care plans, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care needs
  • Serve as the main point of contact for your patients, available for both scheduled appointments and as-needed consultations
  • Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated, holistic care for each patient
  • Stay at the forefront of medical advancements to offer the best possible care and treatment options
  • Integrate cutting-edge treatments and personalized medicine approaches into patient care
  • Foster long-term relationships with patients, focusing on their overall health and wellness journey
  • Ensure the highest standards of patient care and experience
  • Collaborate with other senior physicians across the company to ensure seamless integration of care and consistency in service delivery
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with patients, ensuring they receive personalized, discreet, and responsive care
  • Coordinate referrals to top-tier specialists as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, following the company’s standards for medical record-keeping and compliance.
  • Ensure that all clinical activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and professional standards of care

Salary $350,000 - $750,000

Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • A minimum of 5-15 years of clinical experience, with experience overseeing or working within multidisciplinary teams
  • A passion for practicing modern, preventive medicine
  • Exceptionally high standards when it comes to delivering patient care
  • Demonstrated ability to provide personalized, high-touch care in a high-demand environment
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships with both patients and colleagues
  • Commitment to a collaborative and highly professional work environment
