Our software platform is used to orchestrate complex clinical development with a single source of truth. It brings words, data and teams together, empowering researchers to design more intelligent trials, master complexity and reach milestones faster.
We are seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to execute and lead sales activities within the life sciences space calling on enterprise and mid-size pharma and biotech companies. In this role you will engage with new as well as current customers to identify needs and propose solutions from our suite of services and technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify market potential by qualifying accounts and building a strategic plan to reach goals
- Initiate and own the entire sales cycle from initial outreach, demo of the Faro platform, to contract execution
- Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and field intelligence
- Generate revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales; recommending new products and services
- Reporting and recording all sales activities in a web-based CRM system
- Proposal generation as well negotiating terms and conditions with clients
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders in multiple product areas to exchange feedback and needs of the client
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science or business preferred
- 8+ years of sales experience working with life science companies in Clinical Research with a demonstrated understanding of drug development processes and technologies
- Consultative sales professional with SaaS experience required
- Experience in researching and discovering customer needs and building a need for current and future products
- Knowledge of clinical trials and drug development processes
- Demonstrated experience selling into enterprise and mid-market pharma and/or biotech companies
- Excellent team player with demonstrated track record of success in a cross-functional team environment.
- Consistent commitment to delivering on team goals with a sense of shared urgency.
- Preferred locations: Boston, NJ, NY, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco and Chicago.
- Travel will be required up to 50% of the time

Benefits
Salary
- Salary range for this position is $125,000 to $157,000
- Salary listed reflects the base salary only and does not include other elements of total compensation
- Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
