Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow

In the expansion of our Postdoctoral Fellowship Program and are seeking Clinical and Counseling Psychology Postdoctoral Fellows to join our team. This position is designed for individuals who are interested in gaining experience in a private practice setting that caters to high functioning, low risk adult population with a variety of clinical needs.

Our postdoc positions are flexible in terms of service locations. All of the below are acceptable:

• In-person
• Fully Remote
• Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Provide 28 weekly hours of individual therapy.
• Diligently complete clinical progress notes, intake notes, and termination summaries for all clients.
• Engage in both group and individual supervision to foster clinical skills and professional development.
• The role offers the opportunity for both remote and in-office work.

Requirements

• Completion or expected competition of an APA-approved doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) and an APA-accredited internship.
• Must hold a limited permit to practice psychology in New York State or be permit eligible.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A commitment to clinical excellence.
• Experienced in providing in individual psychotherapy.
