Role Overview:
The Insurance Agent specializing in Auto Insurance is responsible for advising clients on suitable auto insurance policies that best meet their needs and budgets. The role involves generating new business, retaining existing clients, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the policy lifecycle. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about auto insurance products and regulations and will possess strong sales and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities for auto insurance policies through networking, referrals, and other lead generation strategies. Close sales and achieve set targets.
- Evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate auto insurance coverage and policy options. Clearly explain policy features, terms, and benefits to clients.
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues related to policies, claims, and billing. Provide exceptional support throughout the customer journey.
- Process policy applications, changes, renewals, and cancellations promptly and accurately. Ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
- Guide clients through the claims process and liaise with the claims department to ensure timely and efficient handling.
- Continuously improve knowledge of auto insurance products and industry trends through training and ongoing education.
- Demonstrate a "can-do" attitude, strong passion, ownership, accountability, and teamwork while fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- State insurance license for auto insurance is a plus.
- Proven experience in auto insurance sales and customer service.
- In-depth knowledge of auto insurance products, policies, and regulations.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills.
