Full Job Description

Galli Law, PLLC is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Client Liaison to join our team in Syracuse, New York. Our firm prides itself on providing high-quality legal services across various areas including real estate, litigation, and family law. The Client Liaison will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring that they receive exceptional service and support throughout their legal journey. This role is crucial in fostering strong client relationships, addressing inquiries, and ensuring that our clients are informed and updated about their cases. This is an FLSA non-exempt position with a starting hourly pay rate of $19.00 - $22.00 per hour with pay increases upon successful completion of initial probationary period reviews (3 months and 6 months).

The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Weekends off!

This is a direct hire position only. NO RECRUITERS OR HIRING AGENCIES!

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and legal assistants, paralegals, and attorneys, ensuring clear communication and understanding of legal processes.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Gather and relay pertinent information and updates to clients regarding their case progress, deadlines, and necessary documentation.
  • Assist clients with the onboarding process, making sure they understand our services and what to expect moving forward.
  • Coordinate schedules for client meetings and appointments with attorneys and other staff, ensuring efficient time management.
  • Help identify client needs and work with legal staff to address any issues or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case statuses in our management system.
  • Maintain physical and electronic files in an organized and efficient fashion.
  • Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing.
  • Perform other related administrative duties as needed to facilitate the firm’s operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in a legal environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner to clients.
  • Proficient in using office software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
