Claims Adjuster / Rochester, NY

Are you a skilled professional with 2-4 years of experience in Worker’s Compensation? 

We’re seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable individual to join our team and make a significant impact in incident claim liability mitigation through collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders and managing high case loads. 

Key Responsibilities: 

✨ Conduct thorough investigations into worker’s compensation claims. 

✨ Assess and analyze claim information to ensure accurate and fair settlements. 

✨ Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for effective claims resolution. 

✨ Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards. 

✨ Provide expert guidance and support to ensure a smooth claims process. 

60% of our Claims are centered around Worker’s compensation. We do have some General and auto liability claims as well. So the more important skill set would be around the WC experience. Very interested in candidates who have managed the claim end-to-end. Have worked with Third Party Adjusters but who can question and provide “push-back” or ask questions before a claim has been settled. 

Requirements

Qualifications: 

🔍 Associates degree in Business, Risk Management or related field is required 

🔍 2-4 years of hands-on experience primarily in Worker’s Compensation and General liability claims. 

🔍 In-depth knowledge of claim investigation and settlement processes. 

🔍 Familiarity with relevant laws, multi-state regulations, and industry best practices. 

Bonus Points: 

🌐 Experience working at an insurance firm, especially with Travelers.
