Our exceptional clinicians also work closely with the 60+ members of the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine, top experts in their respective fields who are available for rapid consults, support, and referrals.
Assist Cardiologists with Stress tests, stress echo, echo, metabolic stress tests, and coronary CTA.
- Vital signs, including exercise blood pressure, serial fingerstick lactate measurements, ECG.
- Brief history to make sure the patient has no contraindication to stress test.
- Enter demographic data into the stress test and metabolic test equipment.
- Assist in coronary CTA and administer medications as indicated following protocol.
- Educate and prepare the patient the day before the procedure.
- Call patient the day after the procedure to make sure they are doing well
Assist Cardiologists with Member Consultations
- Accompany cardiologist to visit.
- Prepare notes for the cardiologist to review and sign.
- Pend prescriptions under the direction of the cardiologist
- Gather progress notes, lab and imaging results in preparation for the visit.
- Collaborate with the Cardiac Nurse Practitioner
Other Responsibilities
- Under instruction by the cardiologist or cardiac nurse practitioner, call patients back with test results once the plan is determined and you are instructed to call the patient back.
- Prior Authorization of Cardiac Medications
Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000

Requirements
- Current ACLS and BCLS certifications
- 2 years stress test experience
- Able to recognize cardiac arrhythmias such as ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, SVT and atrial flutter and fibrillation.
- Prefer CCU, ICU, Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology experience
- Daily check of the motion lab defibrillator and crash cart and documentation of the findings.
- IV and phlebotomy skills
