About the role:

Business Developer forms the vision on Bitquery product line, market positioning and sales strategy. Our current clients are businesses from a diversity of industries and verticals, and it requires us to position our data products according to their diversity demands and expectations.

Business developer work is to formalise product vision for sales representatives, deliver the development directions for the technical team, coordinate business activities with all teams.

Result of the work is a set of documents, jira requests, and presentation materials. It also involves presenting the company at conferences, events and hackathons, delivering a unified vision to the community.

Metrics of success will be the coordinated sales process, growth of number of clients and income, optimal product development processes.

We are looking for a passionate entrepreneur, capable of organising processes, setting up a vision and consistently executing the goals.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop product strategy and product definition and multi-year product roadmap;
  • Delve deep into datasets, build dashboards and design and accurately measure experiments;
  • Capture, document, and communicate business and technical product requirements;
  • Create set of materials ( paper, web-site, presentations) to deliver the vision to our clients and internally in company;
  • Translate requirements into features and user stories. Drive technical team understanding of requirements;
  • Coordinate sale process and market positioning;
  • Hire the team of professionals in sales, marketing and community connections;
  • Establish KPIs, identify gaps, and improve performance and adoption of the products.

Requirements

  • Experience with hi-tech startups, product launches and development, marketing and sales;
  • Technical expertise in information technology, databases;
  • Knowledge on blockchain fundamentals and web3 technologies;
  • Desire to learn new technologies ( blockchain, data warehouses, marketplaces )

Big Plus To Have:

  • Experience as a founder of hi-tech startup in IT / blockchain industries;
  • Knowledge of database concepts (data warehousing, SQL, ETL, APIs);
  • Experience in creating/packaging data products on Cloud marketplaces, such as AWS marketplace;
  • Product Management experience at a IT company;
  • Computer science education and background
