Position Overview: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process payroll and maintain accurate records of employee compensation.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and procedures.
• Proficient in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction accounting software is preferred.
