The Beverage Manager ensures a consistent and best-in-class experience for all Members & Guests in our F&B outlets. They proactively and graciously find ways to embed hospitality in even the smallest daily details. We are looking for a Beverage Manager to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. The candidate should be familiar bar and beverage operations and supervising restaurant/bar staff performance to succeed in this role. You will be responsible for coordinating activities and helping people reach their full potential.

required. The objective of all positions is to effectively provide the services personally, or to
immediately refer requests to the appropriate department manager. The following is a summary of the
major responsibilities of the position.
Primary Tasks:
- Manages the delivery of service and the pouring of drinks to established standards across all
- property venues
- Is responsible for hiring of bar staff in conjunction with F&B General Manager
- Foster communication with all departments to meet customer service expectations.
- Is responsible for scheduling of bar staff
- Is responsible for training of new staff and ongoing training of existing staff
- Organize and lead pre-shift meetings and departmental briefings to ensure staff alignment and
- readiness.
- Is responsible for maintaining beverage cost at our below budget
- In cooperation with the receiver, is responsible for upkeep of liquor store room
- Maintains and updates liquor recipe cards for all drinks
- Maintains and updates drinks menus in TOAST
- Tracks spills and buybacks daily; traces root cause of problems and corrects
- Conducts weekly beverage inventory; Knowledge of inventory system, steps in to do inventory when
- needed
- Established and maintains pars
- Records all beverage transfers and credits and submits accurate daily records to Controller for
- month-end reconciliation
- Coordinates issues of beverage to Catering and return of unused product
- Will compile weekly beverage orders based on established pars and consumption
- Compares requisitions against TOAST sales stats; reports discrepancies to Management
- Ensures maintenance, cleanliness and upkeep of bar furniture, kitchen equipment, fridges, etc.
- Reviews sales abstracts weekly and makes recommendations for product changes
- in cooperation with F&B General manager, reviews the wine and cocktail menus and makes seasonal
- recommendations.
- Works one (1) day on bar administration and four to five days on the floor
- Responsible for closing all Bars Thursdays through Saturdays without exception
- assist/advise on staff scheduling
- Reviews and approves bar buybacks
- Prepares and submits departmental payroll
- Purchases and maintains all bar supplies
- Monitors cash over and shorts
- Is familiar with all policies related to liquor liability laws
- Is a certified TIPS trainer
- Conducts regular spot checks on bartender pours and compliance with established drinks standards.
- Conducts regular bartender quizzes and drink making tests
- Delegate side tasks and ensure completion by bar staff.
- Uphold the highest level of service for customers, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their
- experience.
- Ensure bar areas remain clean and meet display standards.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints promptly, professionally, and diplomatically.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a fast paced and professional environment
- Previous experience as Bar Manager in F&B forward and high volume environment that promotes customer engagement and experience
- Proven success of “champion of the culture,” facilitating excellent communication and engagement
- Team focused with an understanding of the bigger picture and how you can contribute
- Able to effectively manage different stakeholders and be persuasive

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $90,000 - 110,000 annually. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
