Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Involvement in all aspects of GREC’s deal execution process, including:
- Screening new investment opportunities
- Project finance modeling & analysis
- Asset-level due diligence
- Supporting VPs/Principals with commercial negotiations and transaction documentation
- Preparation of investment committee memoranda and ad-hoc analyses for GREC’s senior management team
- Managing internal and external communications to support tax equity and debt financings
- Maintenance of project & portfolio models
- Interaction with various parts of the Greenbacker business (technical team, accounting team, construction team, growth equity investing team, senior management) as well as with third parties such as financing parties, fund/transaction counsel, and third-party consultants
Education, Experience, and Traits:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years’ work experience in private equity, renewable energy development, investment banking, infrastructure investing and/or project/structured finance
- Expertise in power and renewable energy preferred
- Advanced Excel knowledge and ability to build and understand complex financial models
- Familiarity with legal contracts
- Strategic thinking: proven ability to collaborate, identify, and propose effective solutions
- Strong communication: ability to summarize complex analyses into succinct messages

The annual salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per year.
