Full Job Description

1000heads is looking for an ambitious and experienced creative strategist to take on the Associate Strategy Director role and act as the senior strategic lead for one of our key tech clients. This role will act as the day-to-day strategy lead on the account alongside a part-time strategist and will be integral to the success of the account.

  • should have proven experience working with top tier brands on crafting creative, social-first strategies that drive measurable results
  • should be comfortable regularly engaging with and fostering relationships with assigned clients
  • should be comfortable working in a fast paced, collaborative environment (cross-functional collaboration will be key)

Requirements

  1. Responsible for crafting comprehensive social-first strategies that take into account audience preferences, platform best practices and brand goals 
  2. Responsible for leading the development of social-first creative strategies across paid and organic executions (inclusive of both brand and creator-led content)
  3. Strategically leverage our suite of tools (with focus on how to best leverage AI to increase efficiencies) to facilitate timely insights gathering and development of creative briefs 
  4. Must work closely with cross-functional teams (particularly insights, creative, community and creator relationships teams) to develop and deliver 360 strategies
  5. Must be well-versed in social-first best practices and keep the team abreast of trends and changes within the landscape
  6. Identification of cultural trends / shifts / moments that are relevant to our work and with regular sharing to internal teams and client 
  7. Be the source of truth in tracking execution of strategies to ensure we're delivering on the strategy and meeting our goals 
  8. Provide strategic insights and POVs to clients as required 
  9. Establish and foster relationships with assigned clients, building trust in our strategic POV and guidance 
  10. Identify opportunities within assigned engagements for incremental project work as well as broader services opportunities and develop client proposals to push these forward

REQUIREMENTS

  • This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in office required. You must reside in one of our US office locations: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Miami.
  • 5-7+ years’ experience in social media, with an emphasis on organic and paid social management, brand management, influencer or experience marketing.
  • Experience with global consumer product and technology brands a plus.
  • Deep experience in organic social campaigns and programs that drive follower growth and engagement.
  • Deep understanding of the importance of brand and experience marketing.
  • Deep knowledge of development of content forms, including video, text, still imagery, animation, live action and other content forms that best utilize technology available across social media/digital platforms.
  • Experience leading the planning and management of campaign executions, including developing, evaluating, and implementing innovative ideas.
  • Extensive familiarity and past experience with project-based client work.
  • Ability to articulate with strong presentation skills and to contribute to executive-level discourse; excellent written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated strength in problem solving and analytics and capable of driving insight to action.
  • Strong client focus and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadline constraints.

SALARY RANGE

$114,000 - $146,000 per annum
