We are looking for an Associate, Insights Strategy, who will play a key role in uncovering compelling stories within our rich first party and syndicated data. .

This is a remote position, (preferably) based on the East Coast, reporting to the Executive Director, Insights Strategy.
What You'll Do:
- Support the Sales team with research and analytics, including audience data, site metrics, marketplace insights, and internal consumption data.
- Assist in refining competitive positioning of WGB properties relative to other media properties and develop actionable insights to help inform general presentations, category stories, and ongoing proposals.
- Contribute your knowledge and enthusiasm to aid in developing a competitive ad sales research strategy.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to assist in executing category research with WGB audiences to support sales and marketing efforts.
- Maintain and update audience reference materials on a quarterly basis.
Requirements
- 0-4 years of experience in a research or insights role, or relevant coursework/internship experience (preferably in the media space).
- A basic understanding or curiosity about the digital media landscape and research specific to the industry.
- Interest in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and a willingness to develop these skills.
- An eagerness to learn about different data types, including site, social, affiliate/commerce, and experiential.
- Familiarity with tools like Comscore, Quantcast, and Google Analytics is a plus, but we are excited to train the right candidate!
- An inquisitive mindset and a proactive attitude—we value candidates who are not afraid to ask questions and seek out knowledge.

Compensation:
The starting base pay for this role is $65,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, and other perks.
