Job Description:
The Associate Director for Admissions reports to the Senior Director of Undergraduate, Graduate and Professional Admissions. Their role entails identifying, recruiting, and enrolling prospective second- degree, Accelerated, Nursing Program, transfer students and other specified population. Additionally, they provide leadership to Assistant and Senior Assistant Directors of Admissions.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the University, including its academic offerings, student life programs and policies is crucial to effectively communicate accurate and up-to-date information to prospective students
- The role involves extensive travel within the designated recruitment territory, representing the University at community colleges, four -year colleges/universities and college fairs to engage with prospective students. Building strong relationships with community college administrators and department chairs is essential to facilitate articulation agreements
- Conducts research to identify community -based organizations, healthcare partners, and businesses with the territory to enhance recruitment efforts. they maintain continuous communication via various channels with prospective students through the recruitment process, participate in follow-up activities as directed by the Senior Director
- Ensuring proper documentation and tracking of progress through the recruitment cycle is vital, utilizing the University's Slate CRM and Banner systems. Regularly analyzing progress against recruitment goals for specific student populations and providing updated reports
- Evaluated credentials and completes transcript evaluations, as well as serves as a liaison to the Orbis Education admission team to sustain and expand the pipeline of prospective Accelerated Nursing students.
- Manage and coordinating orientation sessions for incoming Accelerated Nursing students and other designated population.
- Aims to complete a significant percentage of transfer applications and meet enrollment goals for assigned territory
- Assist in organizing on-campus recruitment events such as information sessions, Open House, Accepted Students Day and others as defined. Participation in University wide events an fulfilling other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree,
- Valid Driver’s license and the ability to travel seasonally and work evening and weekend events.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, oral and written communication skills,
- Attention to detail and follow up protocols
- Knowledge of Slate CRM, Microsoft Office, Excel required, familiarity with admission systems Banner and Argos (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively with all University personnel, students, and the community.

The allotted salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually.
