Associate Designer, Juicy Couture
The Associate Designer for Juicy Couture will collaborate with the design team to create vibrant and chic designs that embody the essence of the brand, focusing on contemporary fashion trends.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of seasonal collections that align with Juicy Couture's brand identity
- Create sketches, tech packs, and detailed design specifications
- Conduct market research to identify trends and inspiration relevant to the brand
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising and production
- Participate in design reviews and presentations
- Work closely with sample makers to ensure design accuracy and quality
- Stay informed about competitive brands and market positioning
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in women's apparel
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of fabric, color, and design principles
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for fashion and an understanding of the Juicy Couture aesthetic

- The offered salary for this position will vary based on role requirements determined by NYC Alliance, skill set and years of experience.
