Associate Designer
The Associate Designer works closely with the design team to develop and create innovative and trend-forward designs for our various apparel collections.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of sketches, technical drawings, and tech packs
- Participate in trend research and analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, production, and graphics
- Attend and contribute to design meetings
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor analysis
- Assist in sample management and coordinate with manufacturers
- Support the design team in various design projects and tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- Prior experience in a design role, preferably in the apparel industry
- Proficient in design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong creative and conceptual skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes

- The offered salary for this position will vary based on role requirements determined by NYC Alliance, skill set and years of experience.
