Associate Attorney

The Pogust Goodhead team has led the fight against corporate greed and misconduct in complex mass tort, environmental, and class action claims on behalf of countless individuals over the last twenty years. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of litigation experience to join our team. This position would be a fit for a confident attorney looking to make a significant impact, take on meaningful cases, and develop professionally in a collaborative, dynamic and client-focused environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution, including research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Collaborate with legal team on litigations, conduct discovery, represent clients in depositions, court appearances, etc.
• Engage in client communications and care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and industry trends.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.
• Grow the firm’s referral network and contribute to researching and ideating new cases.

Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of litigation experience (preferably plaintiff-side).
• Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage cases and deadlines independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are necessary. You will work with staff at all levels and provide impeccable client service.
• Detail-oriented with highly organized.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in PA.
• Enthusiastic about contributing to growing the firm.
