Assistant Manager, TikTok Shops Affiliate Marketing

Tarte Cosmetics is seeking a proactive and analytically-minded TikTok Shops Planner to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving daily and promotional sales forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management strategies to ensure optimal performance and growth of our TikTok Shops channel.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with TikTok Shops merchandising team to optimize assortment and sales planning.
  • Spearhead daily and promotional sales forecasting and demand planning initiatives for TikTok Shops, leveraging insights from historical data, market trends, and consumer behavior analysis.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize stockouts, and maximize inventory turnover.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, e-comm and supply chain teams to align on promotional calendars, product launches, and inventory replenishment schedules.
  • Drive the development and execution of annual sales plans for TikTok Shops, setting ambitious yet achievable targets to fuel growth and meet business objectives.
  • Partner with marketing and operational teams on execution of custom sets and bundles.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in direct-to-consumer and social commerce sales, continuously refining strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques and tools to derive actionable insights from sales data, informing strategic decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment to drive collective success in achieving sales targets and business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in demand planning, sales forecasting, and inventory management within the beauty or consumer goods industry.
  • Deep understanding of direct-to-consumer and social commerce sales trends, particularly in relation to TikTok Shops.
  • Highly analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and other planning tools (e.g., ERP systems, demand planning software).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to evolving priorities and market conditions.
  • Passion for beauty, cosmetics, and staying ahead of industry trends.
