Analyst (US)

We are looking for an incredibly driven and ambitious individual to supercharge our New York operation at Fuse. You will be part of a lean, high intensity team, and get direct exposure to high performers coming from Revolut, Tesla, Citadel, & Jump Trading.

Fuse's mission is to build a terawatt of renewables to power the world. We've raised $90m from top tier investors like Multocoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, and Ribbit. Fuse's founders are Alan Chang, ex-CRO of Revolut, and Charles Orr, who led strategy at Revolut and was an investor at Mosaic Ventures.

The ideal candidate

You are hungry, astute, and ready to roll up your sleeves, with up to 2 years' work experience.

Swiss army knife. You are a generalist with a technical background. You love picking up new skills and applying them to new problems.

Sees both forest and the trees. You can sift through the noise, identify key details, and communicate them clearly to people who have zero context.

Self-starter. You are high-agency and you question the world around you. You may be looking to start your own company in the future.

Responsibilities

Analysts work across the business to deliver our core products to customers. This includes the scoping, modelling, and design of new products and business lines, including entry into new markets. It can also involve building the physical capacity pipeline and trading infrastructure necessary for our energy supply business.

Some of the tasks you may work on include:

• Analysing and optimising our core supply operations: from energy trading to industry messaging
• Establishing monitoring for industry data and trading operations
• Expanding our operations to other markets, breaking down business and regulatory environments, and performing tasks to help launch Fuse in new markets.
• Sourcing & negotiation of contracts with our partners to achieve business goals

Requirements

• Bachelors degree from a top university in STEM with coding experience
• Track record of exceptional achievement
• Relentless approach to solving problems
• Very clear communicator
• Comfortable learning quickly and iterating
• Ability to work well individually or in a team
• New York based or willing to relocate
