Job Description
Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a skilled System Document Specialist to join our team. The System Document Specialist will be responsible for developing, preparing, and maintaining functional, configuration, and system documentation for computer software. This role involves producing user documentation, documenting enhancements or changes to products or processes, and ensuring adherence to standardized styles and structures. The System Document Specialist will research, review, and collect all related technical information to be reflected in the documentation, utilizing a variety of editing, content management, screen capture, and other documentation tools. Responsibilities may include:
- Develop, prepare, and maintain functional, configuration, and system documentation for computer software.
- Produce user documentation, including manuals, guides, and tutorials.
- Document enhancements or changes to products or processes using standardized styles and structures.
- Research, review, and collect all related technical information to be reflected in the documentation.
- Utilize a variety of editing, content management, screen capture, and other documentation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.

Requirements:
- This position is available in Albuquerque, NM, and requires U.S. citizenship OR Permanent Residence status
- Minimum of six (6) years of Document Specialist experience.
- Practical experience in document management, technical writing, or related fields is essential for a System Document Specialist.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and software such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Confluence.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and present information clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with technical concepts and terminology related to information technology and computer science.
- Excellent research skills to gather technical information and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information technology, computer science, technical writing, or a related discipline can provide a strong foundation for a career as a System Document Specialist.
