Registered Nurse Unit Manager

We are currently in search of a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our team. As the RN Unit Manager at NCG Associates, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a nursing unit and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of nurses and support staff in providing excellent patient care
• Coordinate workflow and allocate resources efficiently for optimal nursing operations
• Develop and implement effective nursing policies and procedures
• Evaluate and monitor the performance of nursing staff to maintain high standards
• Support and mentor nursing staff to foster their professional growth and development
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain quality standards
• Address and resolve any patient or staff concerns in a timely and efficient manner
• Participate in budget planning and control expenses within the unit

Requirements

• Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RN
• Prior experience in a leadership or management role, preferably as a nurse manager or charge nurse
• Thorough understanding of nursing principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
• Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends, as needed
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Pay Rate: $1,600 - $1,840 based on experience

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Shift and Time: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Experience required: Minimum of 2years

License Required: RN or Compact RN License

Certificates Required: BLS

Sign on Bonus: on second pay check.
