Job Responsibilities:

• Safely and correctly operate equipment delivering ionizing radiation for treating neoplastic diseases.
• Perform high-quality radiation therapy procedures according to exam protocols in coordination with the Radiation Oncologist.
• Conduct pretreatment preparations including simulations and treatment device fabrication.
• Perform daily QA on linear accelerators and CT simulator.
• Use EMR systems for patient treatment delivery, documentation, and care coordination.
• Provide patient support, education, and ensure a compassionate experience throughout the treatment process.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and eligible for licensure in New Mexico.
• CPR certification required.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable in the operation and safety standards of radiation-producing equipment.
• Ability to handle radiation sources safely.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
