Health Educator

ROSWELL INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Health Educator. As a Health Educator, you will play a vital role in promoting and improving the health and well-being of our students. Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver health education programs and curriculum to students of various grade levels
• Conduct presentations and workshops on various health-related topics, such as nutrition, physical activity, mental health, and substance abuse prevention
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to incorporate health education into the overall school curriculum
• Evaluate and assess student needs and develop individualized health plans when necessary
• Provide support and guidance to students on personal health issues and concerns
• Organize and coordinate school wellness initiatives and events
• Serve as a resource for teachers and parents on health-related matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Public Health, or a related field
• Experience working with students in an educational or community setting
• Strong knowledge of health education principles and practices
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in using computer software and technology for educational purposes
