Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health education programs tailored to the needs of the student community.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and group sessions on various health topics such as nutrition, mental health, and sexual health.
- Create and distribute educational materials, including brochures, newsletters, and online content.
- Collaborate with campus organizations and local health agencies to promote health initiatives and resources.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of health programs to ensure effectiveness and relevance.
- Provide one-on-one counseling and support to students seeking guidance on health-related issues.
- Stay updated on the latest health trends and research to inform program development and community outreach efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in health education or a similar role, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Strong knowledge of health issues affecting college-aged students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging educational content and programs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in program management and evaluation.
- Proficiency in using technology and social media for health education outreach.
