Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. is hiring a temporary Grant Writer in Carlsbad, NM.

The Grant Writer will research, compile, and evaluate data to prepare/write grant proposals for Assisting Federal Facilities with Energy Conservation Technologies (AFFECT) funds. This will include coordinating with multiple stakeholders, managing timelines and project milestones, and editing and submitting the final documents. Must be organized, detail oriented, and have strong writing skills.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study with 20 years of experience OR a master’s degree in an applicable field of study with 15 years of experience, OR a Ph.D. in a related discipline with 10 years of experience. Demonstrated expert knowledge in grant writing with preferred experience in writing and submitting for federal or energy conversation grants. Understanding the requirements and criteria of each grant, communicating the mission and goals of the organization, and creating a polished and persuasive proposal.

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
