Warehouse Counter Associate

Ironbound Supply Co is a leading Pipe, Valves and Fittings (Wholesale building materials supplier). We are seeking a full time Warehouse Counter Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is a reliable and detail-oriented individual with experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Good attitude and a desire to get the job done is required. Duties

• Receiving and unloading deliveries made by UPS or on our trucks.
• Help customers at the counter when applicable
• Process paperwork and inspect incoming items
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner
• Pick and pack outgoing orders after training period

Requirements

• Experience with Pipe, Valves and Fittings preferred..
• Ability to get along with coworkers and supervisors
• Experience in Warehouse or inventory management preferred
• Fluent in English, bilingual preferred
• Basic computer skills to enter orders and check inventory required
• Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods of time required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required
• Able to work overtime, early or late when required required
• Valid License required, in the rare case that a delivery must be made by the counter team required
