Supervisor Retail

About the Role

Under the direction of the Manager Retail will lead, supervise, assign, and direct all store activities while on shift.​

Position Responsibilities​

• Will assist customers, handle customer relation issues, and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Will price and stock merchandise, organize and execute the display and signing of regular, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Responsible for completing cash control procedures, analyzing reports, identify and react to shoplifters, ensure price accuracy and protect store assets.
• Supervise team members, open/close store, establish priorities, and identify needed in-store repairs.
• Meet or exceed established store sales and performance goals daily
• Model sales performance for retail team members
• Coach team members, ensuring that all team members are fully trained on product knowledge
• Reconcile daily cash receipts and make bank deposits
• Open and close the store
• Manage inventory
• Maintain outlet appearance, merchandising and display.
• Promote positive customer relations for all customers by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager​

Essential Functions​

• Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds​

Requirements

• Minimum of one year’s supervisory experience in a retail environment
• Strong administrative and management skills
• Must possess thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
