Sr. DAS Design Engineer

We are a leading telecommunications company specializing in Distributed Antenna System (DAS) design and implementation. Our mission is to provide reliable and efficient wireless connectivity solutions for our clients across various industries.

We are currently seeking a Senior DAS Design Engineer to join our team. As a Sr. DAS Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing complex DAS solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure the successful Design and implementation of DAS projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer DAS solutions based on client requirements and industry standards.
• Perform site surveys, analyze RF data, and conduct propagation studies to determine optimal DAS design.
• Knowledge and experience of creating detailed designs, including equipment layout, antenna placement, cabling, and power distribution using vex components.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and bill of materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the timely delivery and implementation of DAS projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams during project implementation.
• Support testing and troubleshooting of DAS systems to ensure proper functionality and performance with onsite engineers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards related to DAS design and implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DAS design and engineering.
• Last 3 years in a DAS design role using ibwave software, Unity, Reach.
• Prior working experience with a Tier 1 operator for DAS and/or Inbuilding role is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of DAS technologies, RF principles, and cellular network architecture.
• Strong proficiency in design software/tools such as iBwave, Atoll, or similar.
• Experience with antenna selection, RF propagation modeling, and link budget analysis.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to DAS design and implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
