Full Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic educational community and assist students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. The Special Education Teacher will have a vital role in ensuring that every student, including those with different learning needs, receives an excellent education tailored to their specific requirements. This position provides an exceptional chance to be part of a culturally diverse and inclusive environment, working closely with fellow educators to offer equitable educational experiences.
Pay rate: $200/day
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid Special Education teaching certification/license, having the ability to teach in New Jersey.
- Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities and English language learners, preferred.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in special education, including differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and behavior management strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents/guardians, and community stakeholders.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching practices.
- Fluency in Spanish. (preferred)
