Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our vibrant educational community and support students in grades Kindergarten through 4th grade. The Special Education Teacher will play a crucial role in ensuring that all students, including those with diverse learning needs, have access to a high-quality education that meets their individualized needs. Pay rate: $200/day

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Special Education teaching certification/license, having the ability to teach in New Jersey.
• Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities and English language learners, preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in special education, including differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and behavior management strategies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents/guardians, and community stakeholders.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching practices.
• Fluency in Spanish. (preferred)
