Responsibilities
- Lead system design and implementation efforts, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, coordinating with relevant teams as necessary
- Perform system capacity planning and optimization, ensuring performance meets or exceeds SLAs
- Implement and maintain system security measures, including intrusion detection, access controls, and incident response
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies, sharing knowledge and continuously improving processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of system design principles, including scalability, reliability, and security
- Proficiency in scripting and automation
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
