JOB TITLE (#1551): Registered Nurse / Unit Manager - Jersey City, NJ
Minimum of 2-3 years nursing experience
Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Registered Nurse Unit Manager to fill an opening with a long-term care and sub-acute facility located in Jersey City, New Jersey
Schedule of the Registered Nurse / Unit Manager:
- This is for a Full-time position
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse / Unit Manager:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing team members
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Assist in the training and orientation of new nursing staff
- Handle any escalated patient or staff issues in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
- Must have a current state nursing license
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years nursing experience, preferably in Long Term Care setting
- Must have proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire your team
- Must have experience with electronic medical record systems (Point Click Care)
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Must have flexibility to work various shifts as needed
- Must be able to relocate before starting to work
