Full Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team for a nationwide search. As a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg unit, you will provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
- Advocate for patients in order to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Monitor, record, and interpret vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Perform various diagnostic tests and analyze the results.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or according to established protocols.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment and devices.
- Assist with patient follow-up and rehabilitation, and provide support and education to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the United States.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med/Surg unit.
- BLS certification (Current American Heart Association Certification).
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and travel as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
