Registered Hospice Nurse

Seasoned Recruitment is currently hiring for the position of Registered Hospice Nurse in Newark, New Jersey. As a Registered Hospice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients who are in the end stages of life. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients and their families receive the highest quality of care and support during this difficult time.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and providing emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to coordinate patient care and ensure a holistic approach to end-of-life care.

Requirements

To be considered for the Registered Hospice Nurse position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospice, palliative care, or a related field
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
• Knowledge of end-of-life care and pain management
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Current CPR certification
• Additional certifications or training in hospice care are preferred
