Full Job Description

CP Engineers, Architecture & Environmental Services has forty years of experience in site/civil, water/wastewater, municipal, MEP, and environmental services. Our project portfolio includes private, municipal, county, and regional clients; some have been with our firm for three decades.

Due to expansion, our multi-discipline firm is seeking a sourcing specialist. In this role, you would report to the Associate Vice President of Human Resources and play a key role in executing the company's hiring plan by finding and screening qualified applicants for a number of positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing:
    • Source candidates using a variety of methods, including posting to job boards, engaging with passive candidates via social media platforms, and leveraging professional networks, referrals and events.
  • Screening and Pre-Qualification:
    • Conduct initial screenings to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and values-fit for open positions.
    • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and progress in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Market Research:
    • Perform market research to identify new candidate sources and trends in the job market.
    • Monitor industry benchmarks and competitor hiring practices to ensure a competitive sourcing strategy.
  • Employer Branding:
    • Promote the company’s employer brand by crafting compelling social media posts, writing engaging job advertisements, and creating personalized direct messages to candidates.
    • Act as an ambassador for the company’s culture and values during interactions with potential candidates.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with supervisor to understand the specific needs and preferences of hiring managers.
    • Ensure alignment between candidate profiles and company requirements.
  • Special Projects and Administrative Support:
    • Assist the Human Resources Department with special projects or administrative tasks if needed to support overall team objectives.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in sourcing and screening candidates in a professional setting.
  • Strong familiarity with job boards, social media recruiting, and Boolean search methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to craft persuasive messaging and promote employer branding.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
